After you file
It may not have updated yet, go by "Where's My Refund" status on the IRS website. If your e-file status shows as different than what you expect, that can be normal. Sometimes it takes up to two hours to update the status of your return in TurboTax.
Keep in mind:
- E-filing status is what stage of the process your return is in.
- Refund status is when you can expect you refund. If that’s what you’re interested in, go to Where's My Refund?
