TurboTax reports that they have successfully sent in the return. The IRS is processing it (can take up to 21 days after they get it from TurboTax) and will update the status on the IRS Where's My Refund as they proceed.

Filed the 2nd of February. My bar disappeared on the irs website so i waited until after the 27th when everyone swore i would get it and broke down and called. After 2 45 minute waits and being hu g up on finally i got through. Apparently one of my employers (actually my current one smh) never sent my w2 over. I thought i only needed mine. Then she explained that they ask the employer to verify the income. So i have to have my employer send the necessary verification to speed up the process

When you will receive your refund, after the bar is filled, depends on what cycle code you have.
The cycle code tells you the calendar date in which your account posted to the master file. This is what the cycle code means :
- 2020 Year
- 05 is the IRS cycle week (5th week of filing season) [See screenshot below for a list of cycle dates.]
- 05 is the processing day of the week (Thursday in your case)
Put them all together and you have Thursday, January 23, 2020.
Cycle Code Ending in 01= Friday
Cycle Code Ending in 02= Monday
Cycle Code Ending in 03= Tuesday
Cycle Code Ending in 04= Wednesday
Cycle Code Ending in 05= Thursday

Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund. Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.
To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions
If over 21 days since being Accepted by the IRS and the tax refund is still Processing you can call the IRS and speak with an IRS agent concerning your tax refund.
Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.
Then press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
It should then transfer you to an agent.

@Kenlovejesus Based on when the IRS accepts your return, TurboTax is only able to give an estimated date of when you should receive your refund. This is why the blue bar may be full although the IRS is still processing your return.
