@Amy5365 You have posted to a very old thread that is unrelated to your question.
We cannot see your return or your account so we do not know why you did not receive the child tax credit. Did you enter a dependent child under the age of 17 on your tax return?
Make sure you have entered your child as a dependent in My Info, and that you have entered the child's Social Security number. Careful— do not say that your child’s SSN is not valid for employment. If your child was born in 2021make sure you said he lived with you the whole year. There is an oddly worded question that asks if the child paid over half their own support. Say NO to that question.
The child tax credit shows up on line 28 of your tax return. Check that line and see if there is an amount there.
