Get your taxes done using TurboTax

To @Critter-3  and @DoninGA : TurboTax (at least for Missouri) has a bug, apparently. Even if you do select online payment, TurboTax tells you to print out a sheet and mail payment to the State! There is no way to determine whether TurboTax actually filed your payment or not. And, if no debit is taken from your account, the only way to find out whether the app did what it said it did without calling TurboTax.

@bfranciskato and @lh77 : I called a phone number that was in my CD packet; however, a contact phone number listed online at TurboTax here is [phone number removed].

I set for my payment to come out on 4/15, as Missouri was requiring earlier payment than Federal (4/18). TurboTax support confirmed that my app did e-file payment; then Missouri finally took the payment from my account on 4/23.

Note: Missouri's website (not the payment one) says that they'll not charge you late fees or finance charges until your payment is 30 days late (5/15 that would be). Other States might charge you if, indeed, TurboTax didn't efile your payment - or, as @Critter-3 noted, you didn't actually select to e-file your payment.

Please do check your TurboTax app to ensure you selected e-file for your State before calling TurboTax support. And, if by some accident of fate, you actually selected to mail your payment, contact your State (info on that State's website, not TurboTax's website), tell them what happened, and set up a payment as they direct (outside of TurboTax).

Good luck everyone!!!
