Enter the amount from Form 8828 on line 17b of Schedule 2, Form 1040 (Recapture of federal mortgage subsidy).

How do I switch from TurboTax Online to TurboTax CD/Download?
- Tap Forms in the top right
- Select 1040/1040SR Wks in the left column
- Find Schedule 2 – Additional Taxes and go to Part II line 17b
- Enter the amount from Form 8828
- Tap Step-by-Step in the top right to return to the interview mode
Mail your return with your hand prepared Form 8828, Use certified mail with return receipt so you have proof the IRS received your return.
