Get your taxes done using TurboTax

@Hafagreg

The IRS doesn't share your information with us but if you filed a 2019 income tax return, yes, you'll probably get your stimulus payment.

  • The IRS will determine eligibility and where to send stimulus payments based on your last tax return. Stimulus payments will likely go to the bank account where their last tax refund was deposited. For those who didn’t have a refund or didn’t choose direct deposit for their refund, the stimulus payment may be sent by check.

The IRS just started sending out stimulus checks and will continue to send stimulus payments for weeks to come.

Check the IRS Get My Payment tool. If the status is "Payment status unavailable", it means that either the IRS has not yet issued your payment OR you are not eligible for a stimulus payment.

  • Once the IRS issues your payment, it will show the amount of the stimulus and how it will be delivered.
  • You only need to check the tool once a day since the IRS updates it once a day.

If you qualify for third stimulus payment,  you could get up to $1,400 for each taxpayer in your household plus $1,400 for each dependent.

  • Families earning less than $150,000 a year and individuals earning less than $75,000 a year should get the full $1,400 per person.
  • Families earning up to $160,000 per year and individuals earning up to $80,000 per year will receive prorated amounts.
  • One notable difference from the first two stimulus is that you will receive stimulus payments for all your dependents, including adult dependents and college students.
