Did you have a Schedule D or Schedule E generated in your tax return? If so, that could trigger the system to prompt you to upgrade. Please see TurboTax 2020 Online product guide for a description of what is included in both Deluxe and Premier.
Another option would be to see if you qualify for the IRS Free File Program. If find you do qualify, you can switch by following the steps here.
