I just got mislead by this message in July. I thought I was getting it as I submitted.
And after submission there was a message saying I have to make a change. After I did, I re-submitted.
Then I got that message. But whatever I changed did not make a big difference, so I did not file for amend.
I need help as this is the first year I have filed for this.
And again, we have not filed and nobody can claim me as dependent.
It is to late to file for an extension as that had to be filed on or before July 15, 2020.
What was the message you received when you first filed and the filing was rejected so that you needed to change something on your tax return? What did you need to change?
