Get your taxes done using TurboTax
@laruschka1 What Carl suggested when he said "file it away" he meant file it in your own personal records--whether you have an actual filing cabinet, or wherever you keep your own financial records. He did not mean for you to mail it or send it anywhere again.
We do not know what you mean by paying a "part" of what you owed to the IRS. The amount you owed was on line 23 of your Form 1040--your tax return form. The amount you still owe is the difference between what you already sent and the amount on line 23--do the math. Federal tax due is supposed to be paid by July 15, 2020. After that date, it will be late, and there can be interest or penalties added.
If you have not already done so, print out your tax return and look at it. That is what you want to save for your own records, along with a record of how much you paid so far, and when you paid it.
When you say you created an IRS account---do you mean you set up a payment plan with the IRS? If you did that, you will receive a letter from the IRS that explains how you will make your future payments.
We do not have quite enough information to understand what you have done and still might need to do.
And--I am also concerned about your remark, "I am not from the US". That has me wondering if you should have used TurboTax at all. Are you a non-resident alien? If so, you should not have used this software to prepare your tax return. Post back with further information.
