Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Make sure you have entered your move date in the My Info section (if using Online) or the Personal Info page (if using desktop software)....up where you enter your name and SSN (not in the SC section)

SC is one of only a couple states, where they do Part-Year in a somewhat unusual manner.
You either:
1) file as a Full-year resident...where SC taxes everything for the whole year, but taking a credit for taxes paid to the other state that you moved to.
or
2) File as a Non-Resident, declaring just the income you had for that one month (all wages, interest dividends..etc for that one month) and, of course, no credit for taxes paid o the other state since you are specifying just the SC income.
So, I think you need to go back to the very beginning of the SC interview, and make sure you have selected the choice to file the SC tax return as Non-Resident (I'm not sure how they deal with the dates when you do that. Dates may not be critical when done that way) Entering that one month of income will be easier than doing it the Full-year resident way. Then you'll need to go thru the entire SC nonresident interview to specify the SC income to be taxed..(and anything else they do specially for non-resident forms)

From the SC General Instructions on the SC tax web page:
"What is my residency status if I moved into or out of South Carolina during the tax year?
You are a part-year resident and may consider yourself a full-year resident or a nonresident.
• If you file as a full-year resident, file the SC1040. Report all your income as though you were a resident for the
entire year. You will be allowed a credit for taxes paid on income taxed by South Carolina and another state.
Complete the SC1040TC and attach a copy of the other state's Income Tax return.
• If you file as a nonresident, file SC1040 with Schedule NR. You will be taxed only on income earned while a
resident in South Carolina and income from South Carolina sources. You will prorate your deductions. All
personal service income earned in South Carolina must be reported.
You may choose the filing method that is most beneficial to you. This option is only available for the year you are a partyear resident. "
