If you have entered all of your income and the taxes withheld along with your other tax data then that is your federal tax refund.
If your total tax payments (taxes withheld) are greater than your total tax liabilities then you will receive a tax refund for the overpayment.
Look at your tax return. On the Form 1040 Line 20 is your tax refund. On line 19 are your total tax payments. On Line 16 are your total tax liabilities.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
