Get your taxes done using TurboTax
If you purchased the 2018 Deluxe desktop edition, then you have to download the software and install the program on a personal tax return.

With the 2018 TurboTax program installed and started, open the tax data file you downloaded by clicking on the File menu at the top left of the desktop program screen. Click on Open Tax Return. Browse to the location where you downloaded the tax data file.
A 2018 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.
Print, sign, date and mail the tax return to the IRS. Include with the mailed return any forms W-2 and 1099 which have taxes withheld.
There are no penalties for filing a tax return after the due date if filing for a tax refund or there are no taxes owed.
If you paid for one of the 2018 online editions and have already purchased the 2018 desktop edition to complete your tax return, contact TurboTax support and request a refund of the payment for the desktop edition.
To contact TurboTax customer service/support use their contact website during business hours. If the problem concerns any type of refund for fees, use the key words billing issues and do Not use the word Refund or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.
