It's there for some situations...but the section for reporting donations seems to have been re-written this year, there have been a bunch of questions as to whether the software is reporting "item" donations over $500 correctly. i.e. Not showing up where they should on the form 8283 this year, where it may have been doing so in the past.

I'm not really up enough on "item" donation limits and when they should show up on the form 8283.
Is anyone looking into this and seeing if "item" donations over $500 are actually following IRS rules?
