Cannot pull 1099B data from etrade account
I can pull data from other institutions, but cannot pull data from Etrade specifically. Error pops up: 1099 Forms Unavailable for User. I checked my account and I do see 1099 forms. Not sure why turbotax is behaving like this.
I was able to pull the forms 6 months back but not now.
Please help ASAP.

It certainly sounds like the problem is with E-Trade, not TurboTax. TurboTax is telling you that your 1099 forms are not available because that's what E-Trade is telling TurboTax. You're not going to get any good answers on a holiday weekend. I suggest that you try again on Tuesday. (And not first thing in the morning. Give E-Trade some time to fix it if they come in Tuesday morning and discover that they have a problem.) If it still doesn't work, call E-Trade and see if they can help you.

No, it is not an etrade problem. I have checked it already, e-trade has all the forms plus I have enabled third-party access in e-trade. And, this problem has been reported already by other TurboTax users. Seems like a recurring issue in turbotax. Is there a direct customer care for Turbotax that i can speak to about this issue? This is not a tax question, this is a technical issue that i am facing while using Turbotax software. Like I said, it worked few months back but it doesnt work now.

TurboTax does not import the 1099 forms that you see when you sign in to your E-Trade account. E-Trade has to create a special import file for TurboTax to get the information from. There could be something wrong with the import file even if everything looks fine when you sign in to your account. If there is a problem with the import files that E-Trade creates it would be likely to affect all TurboTax users.
TurboTax support is closed today (Labor Day). You can call tomorrow. See the following link.

Issue is that turbotax is not even connecting to my etrade account. How will it import the files without connecting?

The product is not working as expected.
Possible to return turbo tax and issue me a refund? I have already wasted enough of my time.

I did the manual entries. I just gave up on Customer Service.
It worked earlier this year for me, but it stopped working now.
And, I had a $10 credit with the product purchase, but it didn't apply credit for state tax e-filing add on and charged me full $25.
