Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Your five digit pin is a self-select number you make up for yourself, using any five digits you expect to remember or keep a record of for yourself. If you are trying to enter a six digit IRS IP PIN, you must get that six digit number from the IRS and enter in the correct place:
If you have a 6 digit PIN issued to you by the IRS you need to enter it in order to e-file.
Go to Federal>Other Tax Situations>Other Return Info>Identity Protection PIN and enter the six-digit PIN.
