That's OK.
Sometimes it asks, sometimes it doesn't.
(Some of us have been wondering why it seems to need on at various times)
My desktop software rarely asks for one when I put in a new 1099-INT....Just tried entering a new one Manually again now....and it doesn't ask
The only time it seems to ask about it (at least I think it does), is if I'm re-using a form I used in a prior year....where I did actually import it from a Financial Provider.
