Note to other users of the forum---for some inexplicable reason, the original poster @ihtblzr has removed their question----the question was in regard to a recently divorced daughter who moved to WA---for possibly one or two years, but who had a CA driver's license and auto registration. The OP was asking if their daughter should have CA tax withheld, but had not explained whether daughter's income was CA-sourced, or if daughter's income was sourced from jobs in TX and WA.
@ihtblzr Please do not remove your questions from the forum after you receive replies. The forum can be helpful to other users if you leave your post there and allow others to learn from the post and the subsequent replies. Removing your question makes it confusing and unhelpful to others.
