Did you buy the CD from Costco?
Use the download method instead of the CD. It has more advantages over the CD. Then you can also download it another computer or if you need to reinstall it.
There should be a card in the CD case on on the CD envelope that says how to download it and you will need the 14 or 16 digit code from it to enter.

I have a ASUS Windows 10 laptop. I bought the Home & Business CD at Costco. I used the Download method to install using Chrome. The install went smooth, no problems. Just like last year. Here are my steps…..
Paused AntiVirus Protection
Go to installturbotax.com
Log into my account
Enter Code, it didn't look like it was formatting it right but I waited and it put the dashes in the right places
Download showed up in my Account
I first clicked on the little blue "copy code"
Then clicked on the big Window Download button
It downloaded the exe file in the bottom left, then I clicked on it to start the install
Launch TurboTax
Do Updates - took a long time but it updated
But it didn't restart. Didn't restart last year either
So clicked on desktop icon to launch
When the Activation box came up I just did Ctrl+V to paste the License Code that was still in my clipboard. It worked!
Turn Anti Virus back on
Start New Return and Transferred from 2021
