File

I have filed every year on time since I was required 2024. I had no income. I am semi retired. I am retired but it’s because I have a medical issue. So I don’t owe any taxes and I’m not getting anything back so what can I do to not have to file 2024 taxes? I did do an extension. I’m just wondering why I keep having to pay to file and I can’t figure out when I’m not supposed to file with a zero income Per year-

If you had no taxable income you are not required to file a tax return unless you have a 1095A for marketplace health insurance.

Who has to file?
