@user17581183846 If you are the executor of her will, you can file her tax return as her "Personal representative" to the IRS. The returns will need to be paper filed. You will write deceased on the top of the return and write and sign as "personal representative". You will need to file Form 1310 to claim the refund on a behalf of a deceased tax payer. You will need paper file the return with the Form 1310 to the IRS.
Additionally, she may be required to file Form 1041 for her estate.
