You can also get a free credit report from each of the three credit reporting agencies annually using this website - https://www.annualcreditreport.com/index.action
there are also legitimate websites that offer your credit score for free even some credit cards are posting credit scores on their monthly statements
different rating agencies use different formulas to the score so a wide variance is possible
from FICO site
Why is my FICO® Score different than other scores I’ve seen?
There are many different credit scores available to consumers and lenders. FICO® Scores are the credit scores used by most lenders, and different lenders may use different versions of FICO® Scores. In addition, FICO® Scores are based on credit file data from a consumer reporting agency, so differences in your credit files may create differences in your FICO® Scores.
some agencies don't use any of the FICO formulas, they use their own proprietary ones. Others may use Vantage Score model 3.0
even the dates vary so one could be a score from July and another could be a score from August
You can get your free credit score by going to Turbo link mentioned above or downloading the Turbo IOS or Android App. If you're a current TurboTax User, use your TurboTax login (not your email address) and ID to get the most out of your Turbo account.
