Where to put in form 1098 and 1098-E

I have a form 1098-E and my husband has a form 1098.  I'm supposed to be able to put that name in the search box and then "jump to XX" will appear, but it doesn't.  It doesn't appear for either 1098 or 1098-E

To get to the section in TurboTax where you will enter your information regarding home mortgage interest paid, from Form 1098, you do the following:

  •  Log in to your TurboTax Online account, or open your TurboTax Desktop program 
  • Click to Take me to my return
  • Click on Federal Taxes 
  • Click on Deductions & Credits
  • Choose Check for more tax breaks
  • Choose Skip to all tax breaks
  •  Find Your Home and click to Show More
  • Click Start by Mortgage Interest and Refinancing


To enter Student Loan interest reported on Form 1098-E in your return, please see the following instructions:

  • Log in to your TurboTax Online account, or open your TurboTax CD/Download
  • Click Take me to my return
  • Click on Federal Taxes 
  • Click on Deductions & Credits (Click to See more tax breaks, then Skip to all tax breaks)
  • Find Education
  • Locate  Student Loan Interest Paid (Form 1098-E)
  • Click to Start

which turbo tax edition do I purchase?
