Where do I enter the school tax credit information that was made to my daughter's school?

The tax credit was $400 for married couples and $200 for single households.

What state are you referring to for this credit?

The Arizona Public School Tax Credit may be found in the Arizona state tax return at the screen School Tax Credits.

Arizona provides a non-refundable individual tax credit for fees and cash contributions paid to public schools in Arizona for the support of extracurricular activities or character education programs. This credit is available only to individuals. The credit is equal to the amount of fees paid or amount contributed up to $200 for single or head of household taxpayers and up to $400 for married taxpayers that file a joint return.

The school you paid must be an Arizona public or charter elementary or secondary school, not a private or parochial school.  The school gives you a receipt showing the qualifying contributions made or fees paid and all the information necessary to claim the credit.  Keep these receipts at hand.
