What does Qualified Tuition Expenses mean ? I didn't pay that much

Qualifed Tuition Expenses are monies that are paid (or billed) for classes taken at a qualified educational institution. These expenses qualify, as long as they are required to enroll in or attend a qualified educational institution. You may have received a Form 1098-T that reports how much you paid or were billed for tuition expenses.
