Should i just skip the part about my student loan if i wasn't paying on it i was scammed?

I paid over $2000 and it was not for student loan I was scammed

You probably should.  In order to claim a student loan interest deduction, it has to be a qualified student loan. For a definition, see the image below.  If it is not a qualified student loan, you cannot claim the deduction.
