Should I include my FAFSA grant amount under the "Other Scholarships/Grants/Fellowships?" I wasn't sure if that is required here.

Did you receive a 1098-T?  Your FAFSA grant should be included on box 5 of your 1098-T.  If it was not included on your 1098-T, then yes, you would include it under Other Scholarships/Grants/fellowships.  If it was included, then you would not enter it a second time.  This is only for Grants and scholarships that were not reported on your 1098-T.

Are your total grants and scholarships more than your tuition and eligible education expenses?  If not, then this is not taxable income.   If you have Grants and Scholarships greater than the tuition and eligible education expenses, then  this would be considered income and need to be entered on the return.  This could also be subject to the kiddie tax, (depending on your age and if you can be claimed as a dependent).

Q. Should I include my FAFSA grant amount under the "Other Scholarships/Grants/Fellowships?"

A. Yes, if it was an actual grant (scholarship) and not a loan.

Most federal grants are sent directly to the school and usually already included in box 5 of your 1098-T.  Be sure yours wasn't already in box 5 before adding it at that screen.
