PSLF

Hello,

I had PSLF in 2024.     Based upon what I am seeing, I do not have to enter in this as income Federally.

State of Minnesota has a box that says , "Had Education loan debt discharged"     If I check the box, it says enter the amount discharged if you completed an income-driven repayment program.

Is PSLF considered an income-driven repayment program?

Thank you

Yes, PSLF (Public Service Loan Forgiveness) is usually connected to income-driven repayment (IDR) plans. To qualify for PSLF, you must make 120 qualifying payments under an IDR plan or a 10-year Standard Repayment Plan - see additional information at the Studentaid.gov website.

For Minnesota, if you had education loan debt discharged, check the box and enter the amount discharged.
