My wife is a principal. She had to get certification to be able to evaluate her teachers. Are the classes she took a qualified education expense or business expense?

No 1098-T from the school that the classes were through.

Yes, these are qualified education expenses. Please see the following information. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/4914369

Like answer, but link you included is 3 years old, so may not be applicable to 2018 taxes.  Also TT online didn't allow it as Education credit (assuming I answered their questions correctly.)  Can it be claimed as a business expense?
