My son Andrew was a full-time student in 2016. He worked this summer and made good money, but it was put on his school bill. Why can't I claim him? I paid all other ex

I paid all other expenses, including cell phone, gas, and car insurance.

If he was still under the age of 24, the only question asked about income is whether he provided more than half his own support or not. Make sure you answer that question correctly. If he is 24 or older, you can't claim him as a dependent if he made more than $4050.
