My daughter is a freshman in college, so the other school she attended in 2016 was a High school. Should I have answered no to the other school attended in 2016

Yes, you should have answered "no" to the other schools question, as the federal education credits only apply to post-secondary education.

You can correct the error by scrolling down to the Education section under Your 2016 Deductions and Credits. Click on Update next to Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T), click Edit next to the student's name, and proceed through the questions until you come to the question, then change your answer to "no." If you cannot locate the question this way, delete the student from the Education section, and enter her information again from the beginning.
