May I deduct tuition and expenses for a special school for a child with dyslexia, ADHD and other serious learning disabilities???

These types of deductions may be included in medical expenses.  IRS Publication 502 states that you can include in medical expenses the cost of tuition, including room and board for a child with learning disabilities.  Overcoming the learning disability must be the principle reason for attending that school.
