Lifetime credit for cybersecurity bootcamp

My son-in-law attended a cybersecurity bootcamp which started in 2023, and paid all the tuition in 2023 - but we are not sure if he can receive any lifetime credit for the tuition cost.   It was offered through Virginia Tech Continuing & Professional Education and facilitated by Fullstack Academy. He paid the tuition to Fullstack and did not receive a 1098-T form.  We tried to enter it without the 1098-T, but Fullstack does not seem to have a federal school code.  Can we use Virginia Tech's number?  Or is this ineligible for the lifetime learning credit?

He is a high school technology teacher so it does improve his job skills.  But the classes do not count for college credit.

Any help would be appreciated.

So it sounds like it's a question of whether Virginia Tech will own up to owning this Fullstack Academy.

It sounds like you have some phone calls to make, but now you know the right questions to ask.
