Is private school tuition tax deductible. My son goes to a private catholic high school. They did not send us a 1098-T,. I have a receipt of $1600 that I paid

My son is a jr in a catholic high school and has not attended any college  courses.  Is the tuition tax deductible?

Education expenses for grades K-12 are not deductible on a federal tax return.  Your state may have this as a deduction and the state program will cover this if available.
