Inputting 2 1098 forms, what number do i use when it gets to "principal balance as of 1/1/19 for each 1098?

inputting 2 1098 forms, what number do i use when it gets to "principal balance as of 1/1/19 for each 1098?  Do i input the ending principal balance from the original loan 1098((which would be november)  and use the ending balance from the 2nd 1098 to end out the year, or do Both get the ending balance from the 2nd (new) 1098?     both statements have the same beggining balance, but different ending balances for 2018 obvioulsy as 2 more payments went to the new lender.  Nowhere does it state principal for 1/1/19 but it should be ending balance of 2nd 1098 i assume. Thanks

Enter zero (0) as the ending balance for the first loan since there was no balance.

Enter the true ending balance for the second loan.
