If a college is not in the list but is an accredited private college what do I do

Being accredited is not the criteria, it's whether the school is eligible to participate in Federal loan programs that matters.  You can go ahead and enter the eligible expenses for a school if you are sure they're eligible, under education deductions and credits.  You should check with the school's web site or call then to verify this, though, before you file, as most eligible schools are required to issue a 1098-T.
