I paid college tuition and expenses for my son who graduated in Ma 2016. He also got married in 2016 and will be claiming himsel;f, can i use these expenses in my retur

No, you can only claim the education expenses for your son if you are claiming him as a dependent.  Because you are not claiming your son on your tax return you can not claim the expenses.
