I'm taking 9 credits in grad school currently, which is considered full time. However I'm in a part time program. Would I be considered a full time student?

Yes, if you were full time for at least 5 months during the year.  The IRS considers a full-time student as enrolled for the number of hours or courses the school considers to be full-time attendance. If your school allows you to enroll full time even though you are in a part time program, you qualify.

No problem, I am familiar with this because I was in a similar situation and for IRS they count actual enrollment!
