Only the interest,  if any, on those student loan payments would be deductible and require any input into TurboTax.

If your student loan payments included any deductible interest you should receive Form 1098-E from the loan servicer.  To enter this form into TurboTax type the search term student loan interest into the Search Tool (magnifying glass) and click on the Jump to link in the search results.
