How to find the amount for the Pell Grant

I use both the GI Bill (100%) and the Pell Grant, but unsure of where to find the information for the Pell Grant or where to post it while filing out my tax. Any help would be appreciated.

That information is on your 1098 form and the steps are listed below..   Hope this helps

Pell grant income is filed under Form 1098-T (Tuition Statement)

  • Log into Turbo Tax Online.
  • Click Take me to my return
  • Click the Search bar (Upper right hand corner)
  • Type in 1098-T
  • Click Jump to link

Pell Grants are included on Box 5.
