How do I enter college expenses not included in 1098-T: Books, Computer etc.

I used my 529 plan to pay for books and a computer required for school.  However those expenses are not included in the 1098-T since they weren't paid to the school.  How do I record those expenses on my tax forms in order not to be taxed and penalized for using the 529 plan dollars?

After you enter your education expenses from the 1098-T, you'll see a screen that says Here's Your Education Summary. Scroll down and click Edit next to Other Education Expenses. (Click the first screenshot below for reference.) TurboTax will prompt Did You Pay for Books or Materials to Attend School? Select Yes to open fields where you may enter your cost for books and materials. (Click the second screenshot below.)
