Just enter everything when prompted as though you have a 1098. (Because you’ll be entering the equivalent of the amounts from the different numbered boxes of the 1098 without actually having that form).

If you are filling out a fake1098 for the HELOC interest, what are you using for the principal balance and the
origination date areas? Those would apply to my first mortgage, not my HELOC
