For calcing "adj qualified educ expenses" for the Amer Opport Cred. (line 27, Form 8863), IRS rules lists equipment as qualified. TurboTax excludes computers. Comments?

TT does not "exclude" computers. You have to know if your computer purchases qualify and enter them under "books and materials", not computers.

The IRS rules on computers are wishy-washy, but most people enter them as a qualified expense.
