Does my son need to complete a schedule C for coaching he provides occasionally at a local high school when his main job is a college student and bartender?

If you son has expenses related to the coaching position that he would like to claim, he should file the income and his expenses on Schedule C. Otherwise, he can report the income as miscellaneous income.
