Your refund definitely does not have to go to a 529 plan! The program should be allowing you to decline that and proceed, selecting direct deposit and entering your bank numbers on subsequent screens. If you’re not seeing this (after careful visual inspection), going back a screen or two to look for the checkbox where the 529 preference was inadvertently indicated should probably be step 1.
Then signing out of TurboTax online and coming back in would probably be the next thing to try, followed by opening the return in a different browser. @claire_lenz, I hope one of these things solves it, but please let the Community know if it doesn’t!
