Do I need to enter a 1098 T if financial aid covered all of my schooling expenses? (classes, materials, etc..) I cannot be claimed as a dependent on anyone else's return.

If you received a 1098-T you do have to include it in your return.  The IRS also receives a copy of the form and will be checking  to see if it's included in your return.

If the "financial aid" was in the form of student loans, you may be able to claim a tax deduction or credit for qualifying tuition and fees you paid for you, your spouse, or a dependent. You may deduct any qualified expenses up to $4,000, even if you paid the tuition and fees with a loan.
