Do i have to file a 1098 form if i receive it?

Also if I do have to file it I have already filed which means an amended return is that going to delay my taxes?

Yes, you do need to file a 1098 forms on your taxes.

Since you already filed, you are correct and will need to file a 1040-X return. TurboTax will be able to assist you with that once the forms are released (Feb). 

When you file an amended return it does not delay your original tax return filing. The IRS will announce when they will start processing amended returns, and it can take between 12-16 weeks for them to process.
