Can my daughter take the 1098t deduction?

My daughter signed on to her college account online and paid her tuition, but she paid it from my checking account.  Can she still take the 1098t deduction?  It does no good for me to take it, because my income is too high.

She can only take the deduction if you (her parent(s) are not claiming her as a dependent. If she is already on somebody's return as a dependent she can't claim those expenses.

Nobody is claiming her as a dependent, so I'm assuming she can take the 1098t deduction?
