Can I deduct my sons preschool tuition even though I don't work?

My husband works full time and I am a stay at home mom. Can we deduct our sons preschool tuition?

His preschool works as a "daycare" which he attends 3 days a week. They have provided us with their EIN #.  I was told I couldn't since I am not a full time working parent. Thanks

No, if both parents do not work you cannot claim the childcare credit.  You have to show income for both parents on your return in order to claim this credit.
