Can I claim the loan I have for my daughter's education. She no longer attends college and has a full time job. She is not my dependent. The 1098E has my name & social

The 1098-E states I paid 10,200 in interest.  I can't claim my daughter as a dependent because she now files her own taxes.  Can she file the 1098-E even though it's under my name and social?

If you paid the interest on the loan and are legally obligated for the loan and it was taken out when the student was your dependent, you can claim the interest deduction even though the student is no longer your dependent.
