1098t box 7. It is unchecked and the tuition amount in box 1 does not include amount paid to school through Jan-Mar 2019? What does that mean for my tax credit?

This year I got my 1098-T and box 7 is unchecked for "includes tuition paid Jan through 2019." Box 5 shows a higher $ amount for Scholarship and Grants for the entire 2018-2019 school year. Box 1 shows just the tuition paid for Fall 2018. Can I include the tuition payment for my 2019 Spring semester as an education expense/wrong amount in box 1.

It shows as if I got more money than my tuition for the Fall 2018-Spring 2019 school year and that is certainly NOT the case.

Can I report this on my return or should I get another 1098-T from the school the following tax year?

Yes, if the Box 1 amount is incorrect, change it.  You can include tuition paid for Spring semester of 2019.  Make sure, though, not to include it again next year.
